Pimpernel

The Pimpernel pattern is from 1876. This elaborate symmetrical pattern is the first example of Morris using a “repeat pattern.” Centered on large tulip flowers and loops of foliage, the title Pimpernel refers to the small flowers dotted throughout the design.
