The richly decorated 1200-year-old book dates from the 9th century, but the Book of Kelltic throw blanket is firmly in the 21st. It is woven on a computer-driven jacquard loom that uses modern textile technology to create the brilliant detail, lush colours and sumptuous feel that can only be achieved with jacquard weaving.
