This Celtic Legends Celtic Trinity Necklace features traditional Celtic Knot designs,  cast in pewter and hung on an adjustable, full length black cord. Classic symbols of Ireland, Celtic Knots are some of the oldest examples of Irish art. The simplest of Celtic Knots, the Trinity was traditionally seen to represent the belief that all things came in threes- the ancient Celtic belief in the Mother, the Maiden, and the Crone; Earth, Water, and Fire; Birth, Life, and Death. Later adapted into Christianity to represent The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit, the Trinity is often seen in Ireland’s famous illuminated manuscripts such as The Book of Kells.
